100. Gravity Hammer- Halo

Picture 1 of 100

The Gravity Hammer first appeared in Halo 2. This melee weapon controls gravity, allowing it to push opponents away or pull them towards the player.

The Average gamer has handled almost all weapons ranging from the simple M4 Carbine to the Gravity Gun. Here at Gaming Bolt we want to showcase what are the most awesome weapons in Gaming history.

Most of you would recognize at least one of these weapons and while they’re not all from the best games, they have their own story to tell. Or just make up pause for a moment and think, “That was cool/sick”.

I think one of the variations of the R.Y.N.O. from the Ratchet & Clank series should be in this list somewhere.

    • ThatOneGuy

      YES!!!!! CORRECT!!!!!

Portal Gun ranks at 2? Destructive doesn’t mean what you think it means

    • ThatOneGuy

What about when you destroy GLaDOSes neoro toxin supply?

  • Emma Deebag

You got halo’s gravity hammer on this list twice. #100 and #92. I also agree that destructive isn’t the best description. Awesome or iconic, maybe. However, not all weapons on the list are exactly destructive. Some don’t even cause damage period.

Why do you make an article that forces the reader to click and reload the page 100 times!!??

    • ciklotron

That is exactly 99 more times of loading the advertisements.

When you are writing about games, it is safer if you know them. Like you write about the double barreled shotgun of Doom 2, but actually put a picture of the single one. Also the chaingun (yet again Doom) is the picture of some mod, not the original. You write about some gun of Fallout, but the picture is from Team Fortress 2. You write about “P.R.L. 412 – Unreal Tournament”, but the picture contains something about plagas. There is no such gun in UT, however yes, a simple search indicates that there is such gun in Resident Evil (4 perhaps), where indeed the plagas reside.
And the best: you explicitly mention that you learnt from the last Tomb Raider that the dual pistols came with unlimited ammo in all the other episodes. Have you actually played with any, Mr. 100-Best-Games-Ever-and-various-other-lists?

For the love of God can you guys stop having like a hundred pages of this crap. Make it in to a slide show or have at least 5 wepons per page.

  • evilTwin

    No Apocafist?

  • Shah Jahan

Just a friendly notice: the picture for the P.R.L 412 shows a picture of the spartan laser from the halo series in the foreground, with the real weapon in the background. Please fix! :)

Suck your advertisers cock much? A 100 pale top 100. Yah you can suck my cock too, won’t ever visit this site again.

  • ITookADumpOnThisWebsite

Wow, this is one of the crappiest lists I’ve ever seen. Half of the shit in it is misspelt or makes use of some awful, terrible grammar and the other half doesn’t even have the right weapon shown (the screenshot for the Doom 2 Super Shotgun has a normal shotgun instead). Fuck your website.

  • sean

    grav hamm twice?

  • Miguel Jonz

How could you possibly leave XCOM’s Blaster launcher! Not the New Game, the old Classic! Seriously sad list here!

  • ThatOneGuy

Where is Natasha? Ratchet’s omniwrench? The Skyhook? Diamond sword?
The red angry bird? Isac’s Tears? Every TOURGE weapon? I could go on.

  • Jaisevi
  • JP

This looks more like a mish-mash of every weapon the writers could think of from every game ever made in no order that makes sense. Without any form of proofreading I might add.
