Uncharted Series Sells 28 Million Units Till Date

SCEA president Shawn Layden recently revealed to FOX Business that the Uncharted series has sold 28 million units till date. How much sales of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s Endfactor into this wasn’t quite clarified.

Layden noted that games like Uncharted 4 were key to the company’s success. “We believe that fans—longtime and new—find high quality exclusives to be a key factor in choosing the console they play on.”

Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter believes that Uncharted 4 “likely will sell between seven to 10 million units. It’s hard to attach at a rate higher than 25% of the 40 million PS4’s out there.”
