Of all the games Ubisoft has developed in the past few years, there have been few that inspired the level of disappointment and sadness as Watch Dogs when it was delayed. The game’s open world hacking elements and vigilantism held untold potential in terms of gameplay and the delay to Spring 2014 felt like it would last forever.

Nevertheless, we’ve almost hit Spring and Ubisoft hasn’t made mention of when Watch Dogs could be out, except indicating that it would release between April and June of 2014. A recent pop-up advertisement on the PlayStation Blog has raised our hopes that it could be sooner.

Watch Dogs_release date rumour

The advert simply says, “Find out the release date in this new trailer.” There’s no new trailer (yet) but could it really be very long now? Hopefully the game will arrive as soon as possible for Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and PC. Stay tuned for more details.
