Watch Dogs Release Set for Holidays 2013?

A leaked promotional poster indicates as much.

Take this with a pinch of salt, since Kotaku apparently received some leaked marketing materials, but Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs might be coming out in the holidays period (essentially, end of November to end of December).

The leaked poster (which can be viewed below) indicates the game will be releasing for “all home consoles” but a quote from G4 indicates that it is “truly a next-gen adventure”.

Now you could take this to mean that it’s coming out for the next generation of consoles. But really, the platforms have already been announced with a release due on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. That leaves the one next-generation console close that did come out this generation before the others: Nintendo’s Wii U.

As of now, there’s been no official statement from Ubisoft. Meanwhile, would it make sense to release Watch Dogs in the holidays? What about Assassin’s Creed? And what is exclusive content you can get on pre-ordering? We’ll keep you updated.
