To promote their upcoming game, EA Sports UFC, which involves fake and simulated video game fighting, EA Sports have posted a real interview with real fighter Benson Henderson, as he talks about his fighting techniques and strategies. Which… I guess makes sense? I mean, it’s a good way to promote a sports video game, I guess, although why not just show us more of the actual game?
EA Sports UFC will be the label’s first UFC game; the license used to belong to THQ, but EA Sports swooped in and bought it when THQ went bankrupt and all their IP and properties were being auctioned off. The game is releasing next year, and EA is advertising it as ‘the next generation of MMA fighting.’
EA Sports UFC will be available on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One in the Spring of 2014. Stay tuned to GamingBolt, as we will have more coverage for you.
