Wayne Rooney and Jack Wilshire featuring on FIFA 12 box art

Posted By | On 28th, Jul. 2011

It has been announced that this year’s FIFA 12’s cover athletes- the footballers who will be featured on the cover art of FIFA 12- will be Manchester United star Wayne Rooney, and Arsenal counterpart Jack Wilshire. Strange combination, but it works.

These two will feature on the UK, Ireland, Scandinavian and Middle East packs. Other cover athletes have not yet been announced.

Interestingly enough, the cover does not feature any Manchester City star, despite the fact that EA and the mentioned club recently signed a deal on FIFA 12.

The box art is given below.

FIFA 12 releases on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, 3DS, PSP, iOS and the PS2 on September 27th in the US and three days later in the UK. A PS Vita release is also planned.
