The members over at the official Hitman forums have uncovered what looks to be the first Hitman 5 screenshot, a game which is marked for a E3 2011 reveal by Eidos.

The screen shows our assassin holding a silencer equipped pistol and looks pretty good.

Eidos had earlier confirmed that the game was in development and would be made official at this year’s E3.

Gamingbolt would be there to cover it for you.

Stay tuned for more updates.

I stand corrected to may statements about this probably being a movie, I think I’m gonna have to dust off my old hitman games and get reunited,

    • PilarVIRUS

Yeah… at first I was like it’s another movie myself, then I remember that they said that another Hitman game was coming soon and then… you know the rest.

  • PrivatePyle

“Will” be there or “would” be there, cause you guys need to be there.

Piece by piece they’re letting us slowly into the hype. Can’t wait.

O DEAR GOD! I just peed a little. the anticipation is killing me, I hope they make this a good one. This game deserves to be treated with care. I love the series and if possible they should sell temporary barcode tatoos with the game.

    • PilarVIRUS

lls you peed? smh Anyway, I do hope they don’t mess with the formal that made the originals so great.

    • jbg0623

well…I kinda wanna see espionage mixed in with some action. I mean he is a “hitman” you can’t make an entire game base on in and out missions. It’d be kinda cool if you had that option, but at some point in time during the game I’d like to see a shoot out. I personally thought the movie was good and if they made it slightly more like that then they may have a hit. Sword fights, hostage situations, assassinations, and escape missions could make this unforgettable.

    • PilarVIRUS

Yeah, I completely agree, but they have to maintain the core of the originals.

    • jbg0623

Definitely, otherwise it’s just not the same game and I don’t think they would want to ruin the success they had with previous titles.

    • PilarVIRUS

The way the industries going, don’t be surprised. Don’t get me wrong I’m excited, I’m just hoping nothing happens to hurt the series.

I would like to see more of a splinter cell conviction feel added tot he series..i think that would help rejuvenate the series.

    • jbg0623

I don’t really think splinter cell would be the right direction. MGS4 is a little more towards what I wanna see.

    • PilarVIRUS

Nah.. what I want to see, is Hitman. I don’t want it to mix with anything else, I want it to be itself.

I played all the Hitman games on Xbox 1 & the PC original. 4 sum reason I never played Blood Money on the 360. This will give me a good excuse 2 go back & finish it. Luv all of Io’s games including Freedom Fighters & Kane & Lynch.

  • shastyxmcnasty

Having been given time to think about hitman sinse your last article about the hitman teaser I’m really starting to get psyched for this game. I cant wai tfor E3 for some more information on this….that and E3 Rocks!

  • tareq salah

i never played hitman before, it just never appealed to me.
but with this one being on the ps3 and 360, i’m sure i’ll try it and see if it is good.

I am guessin SC Conviction would b a pretty good approximate of what 2 expect. Evry1 seems 2 b downplayin stealth elements these days. Even MGS who basically created the genre, & SC which took it 2 the next lvl.
