XBL Marketplace issues are due to an ‘internal operational error’

Posted By | On 25th, May. 2011

Throughout today, people were facing problems accessing the Xbox Live Marketplace.  The Xbox Live support team said in a statement:

“Users may experience difficulties with the following services: Browsing Indie Games from the Xbox 360 console or Xbox.com, browsing the Games for Windows – LIVE Marketplace on a PC, Browsing Games Marketplace from the Xbox 360 console or Xbox.com. We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.”

Now Major Nelson from Xbox has stated the cause of this issue. He tweeted:

The Marketplace issues are related to an internal operational error – sorry for the inconvenience. We are working to resolve ASAP.

Now I dont have any idea what that internal operational error could be, but lets hope the marketplace will be back up pretty soon. Dammit…I need to buy Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale. Now I have to wait 🙁

Oh well…as usual stay tuned to us for more news and updates.
