Xbox.com to get major “facelift” tommorow

Posted By | On 19th, Oct. 2010

Major Nelson’s just posted that Xbox.com will be going through some major changes tomorrow.

He wasn’t very specific as to what the planned changes are, however he stated one of the “highlights” as added Windows Phone 7 functionality.  You can view some images to get a better “picture” of what’s going on.

Here’s a list of some of the planned features –

  • Browser-based Avatar editor: Edit your avatar and preview avatar items before purchase
  • Combined views for messages, friend and game requests
  • Improved notification of your account subscription
  • Leverage Family Reports to understand what your family is doing and how they are using LIVE
  • Play web games with your Xbox LIVE friends on the web or on Windows Phone 7
  • Marketplace: More powerful search and more intuitive ways to browse and filter

Xbox.com and its forums will be down for a while tomorrow while these changes get implemented.

Don’t worry, Xbox Live will remain unaffected and you can play Reach throughout the day.
