Xbox One “Invitation” Trailer Released; Stars Giant Robots, Zombies and Spock

Is also pretty awesome.

If you thought console advertisements couldn’t get more big-budget, then you obviously haven’t seen Microsoft’s “Invitation” trailer for the Xbox One. It features Steven Gerrard and Zachary Quinto along with a whole host of properties on the Xbox One, including Titanfall, Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome. Looks like that $100 million marketing budget came to good use. Take a look at it above.

The Invitation trailer comes right off the heels of PlayStation 4’s “Best Place to Play” trailer, which announced the development of numerous exclusives and timed exclusive DLC content for third party titles. We don’t know if Microsoft has done a better job advertising its exclusives, but they got rid of the awful “All in One, Input One” tagline that used to be in play for the Xbox One’s advertising.

The Xbox One launches on November 22nd across 13 territories worldwide. Stay tuned as arrive ever closer to launch.
