Tekken Boss: ‘If You’re Not On Xbox 360, You’re Doing It Wrong’

In what must be one of the most outspoken instances of a developer speaking out for the Xbox 360, Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada has said that all developers must ensure their games are on the Xbox 360.

“If you are not making games on the 360, then you are doing something wrong,” Harrada told Destructoid.

He went on to argue that Tekken 6 came to the Xbox 360 in a break from the franchise’s tradition of Playstation exclusivity to increase the series’ appeal to a much more global audience.

Well Harrada-san, if all games must be on the Xbox, then why is Tekken Hybrid a PS3 exclusive, eh?

  • The other pertinent question? Why does the 360’s D-Pad suck so badly for fighting games? What moron actually claims the 360 excels in that area. If your options for FPS gaming are PS3/360, I can understand going 360 because apparently people like that control scheme better (I’ll take my mouse/keyboard thanks). But, fighting games??

Sounds like someone’s trying to help Microsoft sell hardware, honestly.
