XCOM: Enemy Unknown available for digital pre-sale

2K Games and Firaxis today announced XCOM: Enemy Unknown is in digital pre-sale allowing gamers to pre-load the game and play the second it releases.

Pre-ordering grants gamers not only instant access, but also the Elite Solider Pack launch bonus, providing a ‘classic’ X-Com soldier, some aesthetic armour upgrades and full colour customisation.

All PC versions of XCOM are powered with Steamworks, granting the benefits of Steam Acheivements, auto-updates, multiplayer matchmaking and cloud support.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is available for digital pre-sale on Amazon, Gamefly, GameStop, Greenman Gaming, DL Gamer and Steam for £29.99. The game launches on 9th October in North America and 12th October in Europe and Australia for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
