Posted By | On 18th, Aug. 2012

If the XCOM tactical shooter from 2K Marin isn’t your cup of tea, then Firaxis has you covered with XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

In the new multiplayer trailer, they’ve released details regarding the squad-making and how matches play out. Each player gets 10000 points to create their own personal squad, and can outfit it with an assortment of humans and aliens.

Matches will play out in typical turn-based gameplay style, like the single-player mode. Bonuses and tactics are also discussed, along with different unit types and items.

The game is due for release this October.
