Nintendo and Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Wii U is almost here, at least in Japan; one of the most anticipated games of the year and the follow up to one of the most acclaimed games of last generation, everyone is waiting to see what kind of magic Nintendo and Monolith Soft might have woven with the new title.

If you are one of the people who eagerly consumes every new piece of media related to the game, then this new footage will be to your liking. It’s just a few minutes, but it shows us our first entry into New Los Angeles, which is the name of the home base city that mankind establishes upon the alien planet that they crash land on in the beginning of this game’s story.

We get to see some narrative setup, as well as some more in game footage, which is always a good thing.

Xenoblade Chronicles X will launch exclusively on Wii U in Japan this month, with a release slated for Fall 2015 for the rest of the world. Stay tuned for more information.
