The Last Guardian

As great a week as Sony had for its media briefing, it had a fairly rough week when it came to countering rumours about The Last Guardian being cancelled. Sony confirmed the game hasn’t been cancelled but as President of Worldwide Studios SCE Shuhei Yoshida told Polygon, if it indeed is cancelled, they’ll let us know.

“It exists. The team is working hard on it. I was heartbroken when some article came out on some major site saying it was canceled. I will say this. When we cancel a title and it is something we have announced already, we’ll say so.”

That being said, The Last Guardian has been in development for several years now. The Last Guardian was originally meant to release on PlayStation 3 but was delayed indefinitely. It’s now pegged to be arriving on PlayStation 4 when it’s eventually re-revealed but that still feels a ways off. What are your thoughts on the matter? Let us know below.
