You Can Run The Homeworld: Remastered Collection At A Resolution of 5120×2880

Beyond 4K.

4K might be the big thing that all PC gamers and technophiles are hanging over the heads of console gamers, whose machines struggle to consistently attain a resolution of 1080p, but looks like we are far moving beyond even 4K now- Rock Paper Shotgun has posted a brand new video that shows the Homeworld Collection running at a resolution of 5120×2880- this is far beyond the mythical, famed 4K resolutions that we have been hearing so much of.

The video, which you can see above, in all its millions of pixels of glory, is a bit jumpy – and Rock Paper Shotgun admit as much – but still, to get the game even running at resolutions as absurdly high as this, and for the game to actually support resolutions that high, is mighty impressive (even when, yes, this is technically just a remaster of an older set of games).

Homeworld: Remastered Collection launches soon on Steam. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
