You’ll Probably Want To Not Delete The Final Fantasy 15 Demo From Your PS4/Xbox One

Once it's gone, it's gone for good.

Final Fantasy 15

One of the reasons everyone is looking forward to Final Fantasy Type 0 HD so much is that it is supposed to come with an exclusive demo for Final Fantasy XV, the long awaited and highly anticipated fifteenth entry in Square Enix’s flagship RPG saga. For those of us who have been waiting for the game and want to go hands on with it (mostly to assure ourselves that it will not suck like all Final Fantasy games have in the last decade or so), this is our chance to get tangible proof.

Of course, once you have the demo, you might not want to delete it, since Square Enix released a bunch of caveats today about how the demo will work, and they made it clear that the demo is yours to keep… as long as you don’t delete it from your hard drive. Presumably, once deleted, it cannot be redownloaded (or else they would never have included this stipulation in the first place).

Given that each game needs to be installed on the new consoles, and that patches for games often run into dozens of gigabytes, this is more than a little annoying, but… I guess after I have played it once or twice, I won’t have any need for it?
