Operation Flashpoint, Armed assault, most MMO’s (Star Wars Galaxies has huuuuge maps even for an MMO and it pales in comparison to EVE), all the Elder Scrolls games, Freelancer, Fallout etc. etc.

Whoever made this list must be playing the sims all day or something…

Infinite. You see, it’s not necessarily the AVERAGE. The biggest a minecraft map can go is as much as your memory can hold- Just look in your .minecraft/saves. It shows you all of the world and its data. All it would need to do is create another .DAT file for each chunk it loads.

Well, even then they are just water forever. Their limitation is just the amount of memory on your PC. Oh, and btw Minecraft should NOT count on this list because of the infinite world structures.

Nope. Minecraft’s worlds even end on PC. They’re pretty big, but they’re not infinite. It’s only infinite because after you go through the whole map, it’s just a bunch of water.
