I really liked the PS3 Controller. It was light, without rumble, which I know a lot of people like but I prefer it without. The trigger buttons were an improvement to the PS2, but not as good as the 360 ones. I prefer the analogue sticks in the centre, I think that's a good design, though other people seem to be split on that

The thing I prefer about it compared to the 360 controller is the D-pad. The PS3 controller D-pad is a good size, is well placed and works perfectly, with each direction being a separate button. When I use the 360 pad it just feels so horrible, like a rubbish joystick, and it feels like it could easily press the wrong one.

Saying all that, I'm really not keen on the look of the PS4 one. It looks a bit weird, looks uncomfy to hold, the D-pad looks to small and I'm not keen on the touch screen design. I'm hoping it will just e used as a start menu button, because I don't want to use a tiny touch screen on my pad when playing a game

This article is fucking terrible. First of all, no one knows what the PlayStation will look like. Saying it'll look like that is fucking retarded, in fact, it's beyond fucking retarded. The PlayStation will also run used games.

Everybody knows Sony is the ultimate company.

Sony has dominated the console market for many years, and they will still dominate it with their PlayStation 4.

Which is another reason why Microsoft almost sold XBox to Sony.

Sony is the utimate company.

Sony is the best.

Noticed a lot of comments regarding utter speculation about the shoulder buttons. I love that the PS4 controller haven't been changed into triggers. There is more to gaming than shooting shit up. Talk about limiting yourself as a format for entertainment. The PS4 wants to redefine what gaming is and means to people. The fact that games have age limits but aren't properly enforced leaves the industry with a ton of pre-pubescent young teens wanting nothing but action and explosions. This may have been OK in the past when graphics were much more simplistic and therefore the violence was somewhat tame but with the speed graphics are improving it's our responsibility to make more than kill simulators. Games are art for fucks sake so lets try and aim for that every time. They can stir a variety of emotions in a player than just the cheap skate gratifying "fire a gun" rush. And that's coming from a seasoned veteran of Black Ops 2 by the way.

I have a high level of respect for Sony, they don't try and only serve the lowest common denominator. They aim to change, to revolutionize, to craft new ways of interacting with people's emotions through immersion of sight, sound and story.

The sequel to the Oculus Rift and a graphical leap can't come soon enough! The gaming future is bold and it'll be a joy to experience.

The R2 and L2 are fine on this new controller, I personally don't want the bumpers to be triggers. All that does is that show how the console is tailored for one genre. A SONY exec said that he hopes in this generation they see less shooters and I agree with him.

I'm a Playstation man myself, but to be fair it's not the hardware people argue about when comparing the two. Anyone can see the Playstation wins in that respect. It's the software (party chat is a common argument) and games that keep Microsoft afloat. Anyone can look at the following link and see that objectively, the PS3 wins in that area as well.
