Man, I'm so sick of exclusives. Even owning all the consoles I wish this would come out for my PC because the modding community would get some major mileage out of it, not to mention I'd just rather play a game like this on mouse/kb. And before fanboys come in, exclusives don't benefit you (no matter what you are fanboying PC/PS/XB/N), stop supporting it.

Not true at all. 90% is a gross exaggeration.

I know more guys (including myself) that are perfectly happy with a female character than aren't. In fact, even working at a game store for 6 years. I only had ONE guy complain about it to me because I decided it would be a fun joke to flip all the Mass Effect 3 covers to Femshep.

We weren't a gamestop either, my customers came in, hung out, played games on our tvs, talked, and there were plenty of conversations about great female leads.

All I've seen it as is a vocal minority on the internet whining about it. The vast majority of gamers who don't whine, enjoy female characters just fine.

Everyone is entitled to his own opinion (:
I am also a PC gamer though but Infamous is one of the games which make people buy console.
I am just curious how does it show how dumbed down console gamer are?
Don't get me wrong..I play almost all multiplatform games on my PC.
But i can't say a single AAA PC exclusives that are up to any standard of console AAA exclusives.

Infamous second son is more than a mediocre game.
And I really liked it and it also received 8.0 meta score and

7.9 user score. Then there is Bloodborne which is even better and one of the best game i have played.
It also received 9.2 metascore and 8.7 user score.
But i do get your point rest of the Sony exclusives this gen are utter shit.Even though I am not even satisfied about upcoming AAA exclusives in 2016 but let's hope.
Uncharted 4 will be a bomb for sure but just a good cinematic experience.Horizon is looking awesome and concept is too...Fallout's writer...Chances of it going wrong is real low. Then there is Ratchet and clank...suit pixar level game experience.
I am really happy with Sony bringing an open world game every year, especially with RPG elements.
2014-Infamous second son
2015-Bloodborne
2016-Horizon:Zero dawn

I'll probably get this myself but alot of the sonys exclusive I've played recently have been mediocre at best in my opinion so hard for to me think this is going be any different. Even with all the writers it could fall flat on its face so you never know

Good, I'd like to believe that, but past comments from you don't make me believe that.

The reason for the belief that this is a great contender or dead certainty in some people's minds for Game of The Year 2016 is because of this story we've been told about (in game it's going to have a lot more depth than the details we've been given already), the length of time the game's been in development and also the staff that Guerrilla Games have hired to help make the most out of the story, Open World gameplay and everything this kind of game needs to be.

John Gonzalez worked on Shadow of Mordor, Fallout: New Vegas and Tom Clancy's End War, he's been the Lead Writer on Horizon: ZD since September 2013.
There's also a bunch people from CD Projekt Red that you'll probably know made The Witcher series.

Guerrilla Games are very solid, if not up there as the best in the Technical side of things, they also pull off great gameplay, atmosphere, it's sometimes their story telling that has let their games down, but Killzone 2 was pretty awesome in that regard and the new additions to the Studio reinforce those aspects of Horizon's development.

We'll see what happens, but I'm very optimistic for this game, especially after seeing the reveal and it most definitely flies in the face of what many PS Haters have been claiming about Sony not being willing to invest in new AAA IPs, you can't really get anymore AAA than this!

i dont wish it to be trash but everyones omg GOTY its amazing... best game ever, but the thing that keeps you in a long winded open world RPG is its story line and quests. If there complete crap pretty graphics arent going save it
