I think so its part of the business. Media are a pretty important element in the entertainment business, so behaving harshly with them can result in to something ‘bad’ 🙂

Sadly, it seems no one wants anything except COD and will compare EVERYTHING to it… *shakes head. This won’t effect my decision to get duke on my PC.

MANY of the reviews hated on the game cause of all the things that made Duke Nukem a Duke Nukem game. One in particular, I won’t mention any names but it’s a site that over time has become the spike TV of gaming sites less about games and more about nonsense where it’s a social networking site for gamers where user blogs are “official” reviews and well, you can’t spell IGNorant without…

Their review went as far to say a few times that it was a fun game but the blogger was on his moral high horse and based the game for being..well..a Duke Nuke’m and not “AMERICA FUCK YEAH! I’m a armchair marine with computer from the future so I can run it at min specs even though FPS games have become like Madden games same shit every year”

The same could be said for Alice, and I predict the same will be said for Tomb Raider, Diablo 3 and Rayman.
