3DS video service launch confirmed for tomorrow

Nintendo have confirmed that the video app will launch for the 3DS in Europe tomorrow.

Available from the 3DS eShop, the free app will allow you to download video clips in 2D and 3D, and the portable’s SpotPass system means new content will automatically get pushed to your 3DS whenever you’re near a wireless hotspot if you allow it, even when it’s in sleep mode.

Nintendo told ONM today the first content to be made available will include 3D clips of Disney’s Oscar’s Oasis (a TV show about a lonely lizard), plus exclusive 3D episodes of a series called Magic Tricks For Your Nintendo 3DS.

More content is set to roll out for the service in future though, if none of these take your fancy.

Thanks to ONM for the info.
