I have to agree as least how I define E3. Sony literally announced galaxy buster after galaxy buster and also had excellent showings from games like FireWatch, No Mans Sky and arguably the best IP for this year in Horizon: Zero Dawn. From the "Triforce of Legends" to stellar indie and new IP, Sony tore it up.

Microsoft also had a very strong showing. Gears, Forza, Rise of The Tomb Raider and Halo are all going to help propell the One even greater for the holiday; Xbox Elite a game changer if the price gets fixed and Cuphead potentially being their best showcasing. Issue I had with theirs was other than Sea of Thieves and ReCore, they really didn't have any new IP that excited me akin to Horizon. Sea of Thieves was good but not as breathtaking in terms of gameplay mechanics.

Nintendo....... was not as bad. Yes, slapping metroid fans in the face, no Project Guard and no Project Giant Robot were not shown, but other games were, such as Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame V, Yoshi's Wholly World, StarFox, Fire Emblem Fates and the SMTxFE crossder. The biggest surprise I thought was Fast Neo Racing. F-Zero GX reborn is what I felt. Either way, Nintendo did give us games, but the issue In had with their conference was the fact that not only we knew about many of these for a while, they grew gamers anticipation for a treasured game or series and often had many of us disappointed.

Overall, this was a good E3 all around; much better than last years. Now, onward to Gamescom, Paris Game Show, and Tokyo Game Show. Hopefully we get more details on games like Horizon, Disgaea, Fast Neo, Scale bound, RIME, Hat In Time, and others.

True. Most gamers generally are upset about that, but with games like Disgaea 5, Persona 5, Hellblade, Until Dawn, EveryBodys Gone To The Rapture and others, I don't believe Sony's 2015 year is as sparse as some people make it out to be.

You are right. In terms of heavy hitters, they don't have much to fall back on, sans some remasters. However, you dig deep, you will find some gems. ;)

Ultimately Xbox One players will decide just how valuable back compat is, and they are already. But cheers to a great 2015 & 2016 my friend, we'll both no doubt have some dam good games coming, we just disagree here.

Zero P Horizon; more vertical slice potential vaporware that we won't hear the end of over its next three to four years of development. Damn you, SONY. :/

Xbox is one platform. You're confusing devices with platforms, but Xbox has been device-agnostic since 2010.
No, the platform--singular--that can play Fable Legends is called Xbox. The devices you can use to access that game on that platform is a console called an Xbox One or a personal computer running Windows 10 that satisfies the minimum specs.
Shooting themselves in the foot? No. They're doing what they should've done years ago: bringing PC gamers into the Xbox platform by bringing the Xbox platform to the PC. The only things dumb about it are that 1. they didn't do it years ago, and 2. you are too obtuse to understand what they're actually doing.

Not all titles will be supported ( MS themselves stated this )

Yet IF the hardware was NATIVE like MS said it was 360 games would all work from day one console release ☺

It's done via emulator just like 360 was with XBOX games, and for some reason people can't see that, lol. Why do you think people are keeping their 360s instead of the Xbone? IF MS allowed ALL 360 games to be played on Xbone then yes that would have been awesome ( but that's not the case )

Backwards Compat on Xbone is VERY limited and cannot play ALL 360 games. Not full BW-Compat

So just come out n say u think Microsoft should be following Sony's approach to back compat/forward compat then, which is streaming. If that's the case, then it's a subjective opinion on the issue. Not arguing about it. And to suggest they're "wasting" resources on back compat natively on the hardware, is simply, clearly, ignorant on ur part......it was THE NUMBER ONE REQUESTED FEATURE FOR THE X1, regardless if it's launch or not. Don't come here tryna persuade us, that WE DON'T VALUE THE FEATURE. We don't care for a streaming service to pay for old games dude. If u like PS Now, cheers, & have fun. But ur argument is a losing battle, I lie not. U can have the last word, peace.

Yet the game is going ahead and coming to PS4 and PC, Shenmue 3 has set a Guinness World Record for being the fastest video game to raise $1m in pledges via a crowdfunding platform. Without Sony and E3 would that have happened?

And like I stated before, the game series was on other platforms so why would Sony fund the whole game? No need too as shown above.
