It seems like everyone who buys Smartphones tends to get Angry Birds and that’s exactly what happened on Holiday day, as the new phone activations almost amounted to the number of Angry Birds’ downloads.
AllthingsD reports that, some 6.5 million people downloaded the game on Holiday.
“We’re really excited to have such a massive number of new people get acquainted with Angry Birds over the holidays — we have exciting new releases lined up for 2012, and can’t wait to introduce them to the public,” said Ville Heijari from Rovio.
The game is incredibly popular both on Android and iOS devices, and world domination isn’t too far.
