7000 Wii U consoles apparently still not found, trucks recovered

The valuation of the consoles was $2 million.

We had covered a unique story earlier where a bunch of thieves stole 7000 Wii U consoles from a Nintendo distribution center, and apparently they still haven’t been found. However, according to new reports the truck that was used to siphon these consoles has been found.

Seattlepi reports that the trucks were recovered in the suburb of Auburn on Dec. 30, 2012.

“On December 19th, the box truck was located in Fife parked near a warehouse,” King County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cindi West said in a statement. “The business logos had been removed from the truck.”

“SeaTac detectives are working with the Los Angeles based Cargo Theft Task Force on the case. Detectives said that the reward in the case has also been increased to $10,000 thanks to donations from private businesses.”

These Wii U consoles were valued at $2 million and considering Nintendo has sold 650,000 units of Wii Us in December in the US, 7000 consoles will not hurt them much, right?
