Activision and Nintendo Working Together To Bring Destiny 2 To Nintendo NX- RUMOR

Looks like Activision are going all in on the NX too, the this rumor is to be believed.

As we near what is presumably the unveiling of Nintendo’s enigmatic Nintendo NX console, we are starting to hear more and more about it. In the last few weeks, we have heard that games as vast and varied as Beyond Good and Evil 2, Call of Dutythe EA Sports lineup, and several Bandai Namco games, are all going to be headed to the NX- and now, it seems as though another major game is jumping on board the bandwagon.

This newest rumor regarding the NX comes from Geno, the leaker who has made a name for himself with some surprisingly accurate leaks in the past- he accurately leaked Pokemon X and Y, as well as minuscule and minute details regarding the games, he leaked the kind of specs and visuals the PlayStation 4 would boast, and he leaked Beyond Good and Evil 2‘s exclusivity arrangement on the NX, as well as the fact that Call of Duty 2016 (apparently titled Bloodlines) will apparently be coming to NX too.

He is now claiming that Activision will be bringing their other big shooter franchise to the NX as well- they are interested in bringing Destiny 2, which Geno says is called Beyond Destiny, to the NX. Nintendo is, in fact, apparently bargaining hard to get beta access to the game ahead of its launch next year. If the deal goes through, then the NX could also see, additionally, a version of the original Destiny game on it.

Nintendo are doubtless interested in having some of the biggest shooters on the market on their system- Activision, on their part, seem to be intrigued by what are described to be the NX’s unique multiplayer capabilities, as well as the new audience the system will expose their game to, thanks to Pokemon Sun and Moon apparently being on it (this is the first insider confirmation we have heard that this may be the case, though it has long been suspected).

Is any of this true? We can’t say for sure, of course. But honestly, if it is, then it seems like Nintendo is finally ready to take on PlayStation and Xbox, on their own turfs- to which we say, about time, Nintendo.
