I have no idea what your comment has to do with mine. Hopefully it was meant for someone else, since you act as if I was somehow arguing that Xbox is better than PlayStation or something.

well, thats how you view thing and I cant say you are wrong, but I (based mostly on my personal experience) prefer new exclusives over old games, and I think that the fact that all xboxx games will also be on the xbox s and PC will make the xbox x less neccesary, ad the higher price point and the fact that other than forza the x1 1st party games really dont look that impressive at any resolution, I dont see it becoming a hughe success!

Time will tell who is right!

You Missed a few but it is not like that matters much yes PS has more 1st party games but more is not always better Nintendo always has more 1st party games and though they always do good it is not exactly good for the life of a console when the console dev knows they will have to pay to dev new games so there are more games because so few other games go to Nintendo that is the reason they do backward compatible so well so the dev consoles that can just run older games, heck it works for them, mostly anyway. If you only want to talk games then you have to count them all and Xbox would win that, it just has more total games. Which 1sp party games you love to play should guild you to your next console I would not recommend someone that spent 1000 of hours on crackdown games to get an Xbox nor would I suggest that someone that loves Halo to get a PS, I have them all always preordered always played, I have the time, but I see each for what they are (mostly anyway) and when PS4 first launched fewer new games fewer apps and no backward compatible games (re-mastered don't count), I love to play a series while waiting for a new one of them to come out. So if PS cant do that then where to do you think gamers like me would rather go and spend money (if they have to) to have the whole series while waiting not that you have to pay most the time as long as it was downloaded and not disk. Now I loved my ps4 but upgrading to the Pro worse mistake I have made in a long time. It was marketed as a 4K devise when the only 3rd party games that run 4K halfway differently run slow and dropping fps. Now even the 1st Party games have issues with the 4K, I am not talking about the upscaling I mean 4k, they did just enough with it to keep it as a 4k consoles though 30fps tech should work fine on the console with those specs but they leave so much stuff running in the background that it pulls just enough to prevent it. Then you have "boost mode" that in theory should boost speed and loads of PS4 games as marketed but nope it has to be tuned on and off to play some games because PS cant get every PS4 gamed to run on the better hardware on the Pro, almost like backward compatibility but PS could not even do it with a half step. Now back to life span of consoles 1st party games play their part but the lack of 3rd party games pushing the tech learning the ins and outs, I say this but I am on PS's side mostly anyway, PSVR great move by PS the head set is garbage one step up from phone VR and you have to have the PS Eye the one thing that made PS4 cheaper because you had to buy it separately but PSVR has had very little interest it was not until Xbox announced that Xbox One X would do high fidelity VR 3rd party game devs started saying they would work on a PC VR version to port over to the consoles as soon as they could but for a company that has no experience in VR porting getting to PC VR your looking at about 8 months plus testing then the port over to console once the dev kits are received, here I can only guess because the specs on the Xbox One X are way different than anything anyone has ever seen, running as either Xbox One and Xbox One S and Xbox One X and even having a good bit more to play with to see if you can put a larger version on it and optimize it down no console dev kit has done that normally that part is done on a PC simulated version of that console and don't always give an arcuate read. So porting over to Xbox One X and this is if there are not lower versions of VR needed for the Xbox One S, with the gb/s (which even the Xbox One on release had more gb/s than PS4 did) then there is no need to change the graphical power because a headset could split the image as seen with PSVR (like I said I am on PSVR side mostly but hate their head set) so technically VR could play on the Xbox One and S models I don't think they will do that but it is possible. Now that we are on new tech FreeSync something that is barely on gaming PCs and even then only on elitist and even then not on every one, this is new tech that is only estimated to hit the open market on TVs in 2019 but with Xbox Pushing it, it could be 21018 toward the end. Xbox was just lazy in my opinion with the Xbox One just like I think the Pro was done lazily because both where doing good when they where made and suck, but Xbox has put allot of thought into the Xbox One X or Project Scorpio to let gamers have what we asked for we always wanted new text we wanted 4K when the Xbox One was released that is why it is 4K compatible but not working though the S upscales and has HDR and 4K Blu-ray player and dose streaming in 4K so almost to the compatibility of the Pro but not in the same ball league, the S model would be minors and Pro would be the Bigs but that is in terms of hardware only, the OS though is fact is more opinion and preference when comparing and I prefer not to do that. So Pro vs X which wins don't know yet but Xbox has pushed new tech and though it will most likely do slow out of the gate I would almost bet by 3 months after gamers have had it for a while and have had posted comments and videos and more demos have been done, it will order as backordered from most everywhere and it is possible that may happen on release just be honest because Xbox is expecting elite gamers to switch asap. (when I say elite I mean by that are gamers that spend the majority of time and money on their gaming I would say more than half their extra income) Now I say that but Console Devs do not compete for current avid gamers they instead compete for new gamers and those not happy with their current console, now if you want to look to see who is unhappy with stuff games consoles any tech go to the pawn shops and look to see which there is more of, now no matter how you slice it, if they are not stolen and pawn shops can take stolen but if you upgrade you trade in if your unhappy you sell it, so every where I go has PS4 and Pros combined 6 to 1 averaged personal experience no studies that I know of have been done but if people are happy with something they are less likely to let it go, so the more there the more that did not care if they kept it or lost it.

I cant wait for the X I am going to do like I did with the One take it apart and learn what it can do and cant to the offline update the OS so that it is factory settings again, mostly for updates if it dose not have the correct version when connected online Xbox automatically updates the OS you can push it of but then it restricts online activity, that is one of the best things they did, so may gamers hack their old system there was even how to videos showing people how and not just 360 but PS3 and 2 because they where easy but before gamers scores and achievements can be downloaded OS and any memory that goes to the cloud such as GS or Achievements done during an unapproved update will be deleted during the OS update and it is hardwired into the UWP that Xbox One and the Xbox One apps are using to keep up with that scoring, yes there is a way around it but not easily enough to make a video and post considering. So most connective system ever not just among the consoles but PCs, tablets and phones all linked with Xbox app or with the UWP itself amazing idea any game I have on PC that is on Xbox or on my phone and on Xbox it all works together love it. Just all the new tech, with PC and even PS is understanding they can increase sells if they put their 1st party games on PC and if they see that then soon PC will be the mid way point for gamers though I would still get ever console just me ease of use and community though I build my own rig and it can tear though some games. That's it and not I could of made it longer .

Let's go back to 1995 where 9,600-baud modems sold for as low as $500. Dell sold a 486/66MHz processor w/8MB RAM and 320MB hard drive for $4,400.

Inflation is one thing. Improvements in manufacturing are a more prevalent market force when it comes to electronics.

Going back to my original point, when confronted with the price of the PS3, Sony arrogantly suggested that people would get a second job just to own one. History shows that they didn't really start selling well until after their first price drop.
