Aliens: Colonial Marines collector’s edition bursts through chests

It was starting to feel like Aliens: Colonial Marines was never going to come or worse, do a Duke Nukem and defecate all over itself. Today Sega have announced the Aliens: Colonial Marines Collector’s Edition, making release date ever more tangible, containing the following:

  • A high quality resin powerloader figure.
  • Four movie-based playable characters including Private Hudson, Corporal Hicks, Private Drake and Sergeant Apone.
  • Exclusive multiplayer weapons: the Phase Plasma Rifle and Sonic Electronic Ball Breakers.
  • Ripley’s flamethrower.
  • Additional Marine character customisation.
  • USCM Dossier including mission brief, USS Sephora schematic, Recruitment card, LV-426 recon photo, USCM iron-on badges and a USCM graduation certificate.
  • Exclusive USCM Academy level.
  • A Limited Edition ‘xeno hive’ box.
The Collector’s edition retails at $99.99 in North America, with a European price still to be confirmed. Additionally, GameStop offers the additional characters, character customisation and Ripley’s flamethrower as a pre-order bonus for the standard retail price of $59.99.
Aliens: Colonial Marines will burst through our stomachs on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 12 February 2013, with a Wii U version coming at some point in the future.
