Dude you need to stop putting up your silly bias and look at it for what it is. unifying the xbox platform with windows is simply a business decision and one that benefits both parties both pc and console gamers. As an earlier article here reads Windows pretty much dominates the pc industry with about 96% of the market. Also in Asia pc gaming is vastly dominant as of now there aren't many big players and Sony just lacks the infrastructure to compete so I'd say it's a safe bet that with win 10 they will reach more gamers also with gaming in Japan shifting away from console and more into multimedia devices like pc, phones, tablets and so on in any case Japan is just one market, china will be probably the focus in Asia as there are more gamers there.

Good now Xbox is just more like steam box. With windows 10 they can reach or penetrate markets like Japan and other markets they couldn’t with the xbox console. It will also open a flood of pc games coming over to consoles and could potentially lower prices of games especially if the digital market keeps picking up.
