But it’s always heresay as to whether even an insider knows more about a culture in general than an educated member of the public.

No he does not. I’m a hardcore gamer and my gaming knowledge is well about the normal person. The only thing Pachter has is he is a respected financial adviser. In regards to pure gaming I’d destroy him in knowledge. Like I said half the times he does not even know the answer or even heard of the situation when asked sometimes in gaming questions. He is an expert financial adviser and a casual noob gamer period. if we where to talk strictly gaming and anything gaming related even financially I’d destroy Pachter easily no question. I’ve followed him for a long time on gametrailers and like I said he’s a likable guy but as far as pure knowledge related to gaming he/’s almost laughable.
