The music portion of Sony did originally support SOPA along with Sony Electronics Inc. and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

I occasionally play online games on PSN (mostly Madden and COD) but I don’t understand why all these other kids are so mad at Anonymous for doing something so great. I’m also a teenager (15 y/o) and even I can even tell that attacking (or threatening to attack) PSN is the best way to get Sony to back off. Sony knows that another attack against PSN will cause Sony to lose thousands of customers which means millions of dollars. An attack on PSN will cause so much outrage among the customers that Sony will be forced to stop supporting SOPA. If Anonymous was to attack a part of Sony that no one cared about, then Sony barely lose any money and thus they would continue to support SOPA.

In short, if you want a company to care, then you have to attack something that affects many consumers because this will directly affect the company’s wallet, the only thing that they care about.
