as to the review:
- it points out the pros and cons quite well but omits the info about mechanics and what have been done to improve the gameplay (other than driving). it's barely a review, more like a quick description, depicting that the author didn't spend too much time on the game.
- you do not need to buy weapons from the item shop to be competitive (unless you feel like you were good in CoD so now you are fully eligible to dominate in APB). also "having a powerful weapon" isn't the thing. the game has a basic modding system for weapons and there's no such thing as "best" mods but just the mods that fit your playing style the most.
- camping spots are being fixed and the fixes will be introduced in 1.7 patch which is going to be released this week.
- since when the term for shooting the hell out of everything is "pay-and-spray"? (spray-and-pray)
- matchmaking got fixed and now there are TL-oriented instances to discourage high level players fighting against low level players (trying ends with waiting for a mission for just too long and significantly decreased money and reputation awards, which makes it pointless to start with).
- the game experience also varies throughout servers. i take it that you didn't find the time to try out other server's community.

there's no word about the learning curve, gaining any sort of experience, more changes from the RTW times... not an informative article, more like an opinion, fast food rant. sorry. you actually have to spend some time in a MMO game to be able to review it.

Tons of hackers. After banning the hackers, the game developers struggled to make income, therefore, they allowed the hackers they had banned access to the game once more. The match making system will place brand new players against maxed out veterans in what can only be called a slaughterfest. The game has a player base that is horrible. They will rip you apart from the moment you step foot into the game. Also, if you are new, you will be kicked from mission groups as the veterans do not like to play with anything else but high level players. In closing, this game is headed right back into the trash can from where it was salvaged. Only upside to this game is the graphics and character customization. Other than that, save your time for something better.
