All the consoles that are out now are too weak to run this at a decent resolution and framerate, much less in 4k.
Ps4 pro can do 1080p 45fps which is good,but more comparable in performance to the xb1 or xb1s than the Scorpio.

It’s certainly had it’s ups and downs. The latest patches have seemed to be improving things overall. There was a rough stretch last summer, but that’s been resolved for some time, fortunately. I’m curious to see how the play anywhere works between Xbox & Win 10. If it’s good, I may actually build a PC ark server to use for xboxes. I will also be ordering the xbox1x when available to pre-order, to, honestly, spend most my time in Ark.

I played the game right after launch, I don’t know how the situation has evolved so far. It was running on the internal HDD and didn’t manage to try and fix it, honestly.
It’s a common fact that the game was not well optimized for Xbox One. Hopefully things will change before it’s finally released.

I run an ark server on a day one xbox one, with several clients. The frames certainly do drop depending on what’s going on, but no where near what you’re describing. Are you also running on the internal HDD? I moved ARK to an external and noticed improvements. Also, little things like getting rid of the ground clutter, dropping the lightrays and toning down the bloom makes a substantial difference.
