Nintendo’s party fighting game ARMS has a number of different button settings, supporting the Pro controller, Joy-Cons, each individual Joy-Con as a separate controller and so on. Whether you want to play with motion controls or without, ARMS tries to accommodate you.
However, there’s been no custom button remapping till now, which is pretty much a staple of fighting games. Fortunately, Nintendo has heard fan requests and will be adding button remapping in the next big update. You can also change controller sensitivity if so required. Nintendo UK showed off how it would work in a short video on Twitter.
The next ARMS update will also add a brand new fighter named Lola Pop. Other changes and improvements to fighters, new Arms, stages and features should be detailed when the update notes go live.
ARMS has been a rather strong success for the Nintendo Switch. It’s sold over 1.18 million units as of June 30th and is owned by more than 25 percent of Switch owners. It received numerous new updates like new Fighters, modes, stages and changes completely for free since launch.
