Really, you can’t say anything about the naval battles — I mean it’s not that far from some of the content in other AC games. Tell me, did you also have something to say about cannons being in AC:Brotherhood & Revelations? I’d guess “yes”. Now I can’t say I expected naval battles…BUT come on, like Sam says they’re trying to branch out & add some unique experiences. & you saying naval battles don’t scream Assassin’s Creed? What does scream Assassin’s Creed? All stealth? Maybe that’s why you feel it doesn’t fit, because cannons break up the quiet stealth moments? Assassin’s Creed is about more than just stealth, & since it spans many diverse Assassin’s & a lot of different settings both in time & place, I’d say naval battles are fine. Oh, & by the way — you play a half Native American, if you hadn’t heard…so you know, you saying hunting doesn’t fit or doesn’t scream Assassin’s Creed, is ridiculous. If you think about it, you’ve been hunting in all the games! I can see how being an assassin should share a lot of hunting & tracking elements. So I disagree with that more than your naval battle comment. I think hunting fits perfectly, especially with this particular setting. If all you want is the bare basics of Asssassin’s Creed, maybe you should just keep playing the first game. lol
