Right, sorry for a rage-spoiler early on in the game's release, but I'm going to disrespectfully disagree with this, at-least with the previous games I was given the excitement for the next game through the cliffhanger. The ending of the first game gave you that awesome excitement and curiosity as to what the writing was doing on the wall, who did it and why. The next three games were to do with the ones who came before, and the ending to Revelations when Ezio Auditore spoke directly to Desmond and indirectly put his hand on Desmond's shoulder leaving the possibilities as to what exactly happened to the player's imagination was just tear-jerking with a warm feeling that you know the story will continue, but without Ezio Auditore.

This game however gave you a speculation of what Desmond's future would hold and how the cycle would keep going with the anarchists that follow after his passing. However Minerva's speculation isn't even given that much credit when Desmond just seems to pass out onto the floor after being what looks an electric shock. Juno speaking to his potentially lifeless body on the floor didn't exactly help either. So instead of excitement and a good old heart-melting, we're given a pretty FMV and the slight possibility of a cliffhanger.

As for the game itself, well that's another subject.
