Assassin’s Creed: Gold, A New Audio Drama In The Franchise, Announced For 2020

The series leaps into a new medium.

Assassin’s Creed has emerged as one of the most long running and successful video game franchises of all time. The games remain some of the best selling games in the industry, and it has crossed over somewhat successfully to other mediums. It had a moderately successful film adaptation several years ago and has had multiple ongoing novel and comic book series. Now, it’ll jump into a new medium with an audio drama.

As announced by Audible, Assassin’s Creed: Gold will be an audio drama that follows Aliyah Kahn, a card shark and hustler, who falls into debt and must repay it by becoming an Assassin and decoding a secret message inscribed on an illegal form of currency during the Great Recoinage of 1696. It will be 4 hours and 40 minute according to the Audible, which you can see through here.

Assassin’s Creed: Gold will release February 27th 2020 exclusively to Audible. The most recent game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, is available now.
