Assassin’s Creed: Revelations “wont answer everything”

For all those people who expect Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will answer all the questions that you have in mind after the confusing ending of Brotherhood, don’t get too excited- the game will answer a lot of questions, but not all of them, since Desmond’s story will still continue (well, duh, we’re yet to see the next numbered Assassin’s Creed installment).

“Well, we wont answer everything because Desmond’s story continues,” said lead writer Darby McDevitt. “Desmond’s story continues. But fans will definitely know most of the important details of Ezio and Altair’s lives, and how they fit into the grand scheme.”

But according to the information given out recently, Ezio is 52 years old in Revelations. Of course that will affect how agile and strong he is. Or will it?

“52 is a good age,” McDevitt says in reply to the question. “But one must remember that Ezio and Altair are rather special people. Also, although 52 was old in the 1500s, it wasn’t uncommon for people to live for quite a long time.

“Suleimon the Magnificent lived to around 70, and one Janissary [Sultan’s bodyguard] that we found lived to be 104.”

When asked what exactly is going to happen to Ezio, he remained silent. All he said was that “hardcore fans know the logic of the Animus prevents us from seeing certain things in a character’s life – but we also know how to pull a few devious tricks. Just wait and see.”
