Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix For PlayStation Vita? Another Screen Leaked

Spanish retailer lists the game as heading to Sony's handheld.

Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix was outed some time ago with a leaked screenshot asset circulating on the interwebs. However, it’s not the upcoming feature film but apparently a new PlayStation Vita according to a Spanish retailer.

Yes, it’s a convoluted stretch but bear with us. On top of that, another asset screenshot has been leaked showcasing some Abstergo scientists in a room with containment capsules. This reminds us somewhat of the premise behind the Assassin’s Creed multiplayer, in which you played a test subject fighting against other test subjects within the Animus.

Regardless, there’s nothing new or concrete here (yet). Until Ubisoft provides some clarification, we’ll just be left assuming…well, nothing, really. Such is the dearth of information.

The last game in the franchise to be released for PS Vita was Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation, an off-shoot of the main game which saw players take on the role of Aveline de Grandpré. The game got average reviews overall.
