Assassin’s Creed Unity Launch Day PC Patch Addresses Multi GPU Issues

This game better run at launch, given all of these patches and updates.

Assassin’s Creed Unity launches in just a little while, and Ubisoft is determined to make it a seamless, exemplary launch for the PC, unlike, well, every other Assassin’s Creed game in the past. We already know that Nvidia has released brand new drivers update for its graphics card just to address Assassin’s Creed Unity and ensure that the game runs smoothly on PCs on their end at the very least, and now, it seems like Ubisoft itself is also taking this equally seriously.

They have released a launch day patch for the game, version 1.2.0, and it adds a fair bit to the title. Most importantly, it ensures that the game will not have any compatibility issues with multi GPU setups.

The full patch notes are:

Fixed crash when accepting invitation in specific cases
Added NVIDIA technologies descriptions in advanced graphics page
Improved performance in cinematic on low HW configurations
Fixed various Graphic issues
Fixed various Input issues
Fixed various Multi-GPU issues
Fixed various UI issues
Fixed various Uplay Invitations issues

With all of this work going into it, hopefully the PC version doesn’t have too many issues upon launch.
