i dont understand this, when people say the game is poorly optimized, that would be related to the stutters and fps drops. but saying that such beautiful gfx doesnt need powerful hardware is a stupid statement, that pc elitists should get out of their heads, ( this coming from an owner of a gtx 980)

I have both the ps4 version and xb1 version (if you wanna know why I'll tell you) I sent about 4 hours playing on ps4 before getting the xb1 version and now I play just the Xbox version. Visuals are identical from a quality standpoint BUT the Xbox version definitely runs better, has less draw in, less NPC pop in and waaaaay less bugs all around. On ps4 I'd constantly see NPC's pop in and often then would appear about a foot off the ground and then they would drop. It was odd and distracting but the frame rate is the ps4's biggest issue. Its bad. Gddr5 is great for graphics but not so much for CPU bound tasks like AI.

Ubi says cutting crowd sizes doesn't impact performance but that can't be true. removing 20 NPC's from a scene should clear enough overhead to lock the game at 30. If not then remove more. as nice as it is seeing tons of characters I'd much rather have a smooth game.

I'd love to play this on PC at 60fps. It would be so much better. The amazing animation of this game is lost at 30fps especially when it starts dropping frames.

I've played it since launch and just beat it this week. In all that time, I have only encountered 3 major bugs on XB1. Still surprised to see this many people to have had such bad experiences with it since mine were really really great. Loved the game and the romance b/w Arno & Elise. I just wish they made Arno a larger part of the French Revolution like Conner was for the Revolutionary War. The French Revolution seemed more like a backdrop to the main story than it was a large part of it...

You guys should really take some time to do your research. Ubisoft clearly stated that the frame rate issues were due to CPU bound situations. There is no question that these issues should have been addressed before launch.

P.S. You really need to check your grammar.

It's because the CPU is holding the consoles back, I read 1 guy overclocked an i5 to 4.7 Ghz and that gave him a smooth experience with no stuttering or anything so seems cpu performance needs to be drastically improved, adding mantle would of mostly solved that on pc
