Saying this game’s AI doesn’t suffer your impact is a bit weird. I have so many videos of me pushing the AI out of track with my miscalculated brakings all the time…
Plus whenever you touch a car you also get out of track. As well as when the AI touch you. I’ve seen it happens that they spin out after touching me…
I’m playing on PS4…
Also comparing to GTS…. Better be compared to project cars 2.

GTS you can drive like a maniac touching all the curbs and at any speed on Nordschleife and nothing will happen… You try the same driving on Assetto and you’ll have a helluva time trying to keep in track…

In reply to Roland Schmid. I agree, AC is one of the best sim racers on PC and the reviewers main complaints don't apply because it is better optimised and the shortfalls in cars and tracks are covered by the huge modding community surrounding this sim. On the consoles, not so much.

In reply to David Dittman. am playing in Xbox one s with a csl elite fanatec and i dont have any problem at all ! everything work like similar when i play in Pc (except for the rev light or some app i use). But more AC need Tracks !!!!!

Get off the consoles and play it on PC, sadly releasing to consoles was a half-baked money making exercise where everyone suffered (PC and Console Drivers). Game development reduced substantially because of optimization and bug fixing on 2 sets of consoles took up a huge chunk of time…
Lets hope they review how the release AC2 (or whatever they decide to call it) a little better…

Comparing AC with GT Sport and other sim-cade games is an apples and oranges comparison. A comparison with rFactor2 might be more in order. The AI in AC works quite well with probably the main drawback being that some of the AI car will brake a bit early for corners. And yes, the AI cars are not all that ready to give up their line when being shoved out of the way by the user. AC is about racing, and only racing. Maybe a comparison with iRacing would later be in order since a version of AI is currently in development. I must admit I never thought I would see the day when AI would come to iRacing.
