This weeks UK Charts show that the just released Pokemon Black & White have taken the top spots this week.

Pokemon White is the one in the number1st, while Pokemon Black took the 2nd spot.

A new website with the URL of  ‘findmakarov‘ suggests that the rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be revealed in the upcoming GDC, which is in just four days.

This website shows a green countdown clock which will end exactly during GDC, the font of and style of the numbers resembles that of previous Call of Duty’s, and by the name of the site, this definitely looks like it is COD.

Modern Warfare 3 is said to be a prequel to the series, with you playing as Ghost, one of the key characters in Modern Warfare 2.

Epic Games and People Can Fly tried to add co-op into their upcoming shooter, Bulletstorm.

However, the co-op feature was cancelled after the developers realized that it “broke down” the gameplay.

“First off, it was in there at one point and it actually worked, but we found that the game shifted from being this kind of puzzle shooter into essentially this downhill skiing simulator, where people were seeing how fast they could get to the bottom of the mountain.” said Cliff Bleszinski.

“Really the game just broke down, and it was a situation where people would race through the game, ignoring the vistas and they wouldn’t set up as many skillshots.” he explained.

“So when we made the decision to go straight campaign, it gave us the chance to put in one-offs that could only be controlled by one player, like the giant robotic dinosaur, where you don’t have to worry about Player 2, or slow motion one-offs that could only occur in a single player game.”

Do not confuse the campaign co-op which was cancelled with the multiplayer co-op, multiplayer will still feature co-op in which you and up to three other friends can take on waves of enemies.

Bulletstorm is set to be released on February 22 in the US and February 25 in Europe.

It was revealed earlier this month that a Killzone 3 PS3 bundle will be heading towards Europe. This bundle packs a Jungle Green Dualshock 3 controller, a PS3 and Killzone 3.

It was now revealed that a similar bundle will also be heading to US retailers.

This new bundle will include a copy of Killzone 3, a 160GB PS3 and a standard Dualshock 3 (unlike the European bundle), all for $299.99.

The US bundle is set to be released on February 22.

Not only did we finally get a release date for Duke Nukem Forever, but on top of that, 2K has release a new trailer for the long awaited game.

The trailer showcases some intense gameplay and scenarios, along with some funny Duke Nukem moments. It has got kicking, swearing, nudity, shooting, aliens… it’s typical Duke Nukem. And it rocks.

The game is set to be released on May 3 in the US and on May 6 in Europe.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has just announced that Mortal Kombat will be officially released at midnight on April 18 in the UK.

They have even named this somewhat special day as “Mortal Monday”.

The US release date is expected to be on April 19.

The first English review for Killzone 3 is in, the Official PlayStation Magazine UK gave it a great 9 out of 10. In its review, OPM says that, “on a visual level, as a 3D breakthrough, this feels like a watershed moment in a revolution affecting all of gaming”.

OPM calls the Move and 3D combination “remarkable”, and that gameplay wise, “Black Ops is the only FPS on PS3 that can match this”.

The reasons as to why the game did not receive a 10/10 is because the voice acting isn’t perfect, in addition, the story lacks an “emotive punch”.

PopCap Games has revealed new details for the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade version of Bejeweled Blitz.

The game will be based on the Facebook version of the game, but will feature all new modes, including the classic gameplay mode, a 16-player Party mode, a 2 player Battle mode over Xbox Live and a mode with a new twist.

Despite the game being very similar to the Facebook version, it will have a high-definition visual overhaul.

The Xbox Live version will also feature Friendscore, which allows players to combine scores with their friends.

Bejeweled Blitz Live is set for a Q1 2011 release.

Respawn has intended to sign partnership with the publisher THQ, but due to Respawn wanting ownership rights of the studio’s new IP, the deal was cancelled.

“We were one deal point away from signing [Respawn]… My responsibility to our stockholders and to my CEO and the company is to build an IP library.” said THQ core games boss Danny Bilson during an interview with Wired.

Allowing Respawn to have the IP ownership rights of the game would “open the doors for everyone else to say ‘I wanna own it too,'” he explained.

Respawn’s Vince Zampella participated in the interview, saying that,  “I’ve known Danny Bilson for many years, so THQ was one of the publishers who approached us. We had serious discussions with them.”

“As for the IP ownership, frankly, after what we’d just been through with Activision, owning the IP we were going to create was important to us. Unfortunately, THQ did not want to agree to that.” Zampella explained.

Respawn has therefore signed with the publisher EA, who agreed to let them have the IP ownership.

Despite these negative reactions, Dead Space 2 is easily a great looking and promising game.

Dead Space 2 is set to be released on January 25.
