"Hopefully this development will force internet service providers to shape up and provide cheaper and faster connections."

Seriously, folks, listen to what the man is saying here. THIS is what we should be demanding as customers instead of whining about the XB1's requirements. A stable, fast internet connection shouldn't be a luxury in this day and age. It should be as expected as phone service.

I think you are the one not seeing the big picture, and that is: "You don't own your content any more, you can't borrow games from friends or lend them to friends, and forget about playing when your internet is down, even if it's a single player focused game."
Please, enlighten me as to the benefits of these things.

Yeah, so they are saying nothing at all with that statement. Anything could be considered a "potential scenario". Such as requiring a check in every 24 hours, 72 hours, 6 hours, 5 days, never, paying a fee to disable the check in, they are all "potential scenarios".
But will they come out and actually tell us what is going on? No, it's all PR talk with nothing but vague possibilities and nothing confirmed. They know gamers want this information, yet they refuse to tell us anything. And then they cancel their post E3 Q & A?
I have to believe if they had good news for us they would have told us already, it seems like they would rather keep us in the dark than tell us how the used games and online requirements will actually work.
