Yea does look like they apmed up the textures and lighting . Arent they using the same engine as last for some reason unreal engine has come to mind i might be wrong.. I feel good things about this games hopefully itll b more fun n much more things to do cant wait..

well after going through this amazing shots, you can tell that arkam city has up the lighting on its engine, and they’ve definitely work on the colors of batman’s costume (as you can see in the frame where they’re both flying above the city and the island. also the city looks a lot more detailed, but to be fair there’s a lot more going on in the city with cars, people, ect; as opposed to the island. what IS impressive; and this is talking about arkham asylum is that the game looks almost as good as the second gam!!! there are noticeable differences like the lighting effects and the addition of more active environments, but you can tell why this is was regarded as one of 2009’s best games of the year, and the BEST comic book super hero video game ever made!!! P.S it’s clear to see the lighting effect right off the bat with the first image of the joker and the image of batman as well. Aqua Out!!!
