Batman: Arkham Origins Developer Is Working On A Co-op Open World Game

These rumors sound intriguing.

For the longest time, it had been rumored that the next game by Warner Montreal, the studio that brought us the underappreciated Batman: Arkham Origins, and the great Batman: Arkham Knight DLC would be a Batman game starring Damien Wayne.

Now, it seems like plans have changed, and their next game will be a multiplayer co-op open world game set in the DC universe, instead. According to Reddit user virgilhawkins17, based on some analysis of LinkedIn profiles, the next game by Warner Montreal is an open world co-op multiplayer game with single player elements, RPG mechanics, and some of the same things as in the Batman: Arkham games. Just in case the LinkedIn profiles are modified, you can check out the screenshots below.

Of course, for now, nothing is confirmed- but we can imagine that this game will hopefully be revealed (and released) some time soon. Let’s just hope it is a game that lives up to all the years of development that have gone into it.
