ok ill give you the step by step directions (even though your post is old ill still tell ya for other people to find out)

1 ok first you need to have 2+ battlefield games.
2 go to this link http://www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com/ and login
3 go to My Solider, and then click veteran
4 scroll down and click the games that you own other then BFBC2
5 type in the cd key(s)
6 force refresh it you should now have a veteran rank of 1+
7 go back to play multiplayer, the weapon can be used by any class enjoy

well i reloaded it, shut it off, and even checked my settings for wi-fi,
but after a couple of hours of leaving it alone they came back, still though has this happened to anyone else?

Jesse, my dogtags disappeared earlier today. I reloaded the game and they came back. Maybe that’s what you need to do?

ok 1 more problem after you told me how to switch weapons i kicked ass but now whenever i play on multiplayer ALL the guns, gadgets, and the other stuff disappeared. when i go to look at my stats and weapons they say i got almost all of them but i cant use them in multiplayer anymore. im just wondering if anyone else is having this idk i guess a glitch

go to the wepons part of kit selection and scroll down…. not that hard o well good luck trying to be good at it bye

ok i have a dumb question,
i have the ps3 version of bfbc2 and have unlocked all the weapons and gadgets in multiplayer. the gadgets immediatley equip themselves to the corresponding kit but the weapons do not, how do i equip the weapons to the kits so i can kill you faster? lol
