Bayonetta 2 is a Nintendo exclusive, coming out only on the Wii U. It’s been two years since we’ve known this, but so many people still get mad about this.
Still, though, Bayonetta 2 being exclusive to Wii U comes with a lot of perks (such as it, I don’t know, existing). One of these perks is the game being loaded with Nintendo easter eggs and references. We already knew that the game would have Bayonetta cosplaying as multiple Nintendo characters, as well as references to other Nintendo games, but we didn’t know about this Star Fox easter egg that’s in the game as well.
Before we proceed, here’s the obvious spoiler alert warning. If you want to go into the game completely unspoiled and blind, with no forward knowledge or context whatsoever, this is your chance to back out and just not watch this video. If, however, you don’t care as much for Bayonetta’s story, and are more in it for the insanity and/or the gameplay, then go right ahead and watch the video.
