My fav is the ability to jump up anywhere by just moving the stick all over while jamming the jump button lol.

I'll miss that one.

Honesty I think Bethesda has stuck with this engine because of how easy it is for mods and mods is what sells these games. On pc people still playing oblivion regularly and its all because mods can make it feel new again.
Bethesda is probably afraid of starting something like that from scratch cause it's not easy and its the single thing gamebryo managed to do right from day 1

Yeah I agree.

It's actually not just the graphics too it's also the general gameplay mechanics and feel, things like, NPCs, loading areas in, verticality...

Sorry bud but you have seen pretty much everything gamebryo can do. That engine is so tired it tries to kill itself all the time...that's why all the games that use it crash constantly

Here's an idea. Drop the engine that was created in the late 90s. Gamebryo was crap in Morrowind and its crap now.

They can rename it all they want but the issues that existed all the way back then STILL exist today.

Make a new damn engine Bethesda...it's time. You have made enough money to do it and you have the best engine team in the world working at your company.

Mario games in the 90's didn't have nice shiny graphics and I spent hours playing them. I'd prefer better/more involved gameplay over shiny graphics any day.

So, the author of this article supports Beth or not? Because i can see acontradiction in the article. As for me, bad facial animation and plasticky characters is not my idea of vision. Beth better get their act together!
