This year’s BlizzCon, the PC gaming giant’s annual convention, will begin on November 4, and take place in Anaheim, California, Blizzard confirmed today in a release. This year’s BlizzCon should be a special one, as it marks Blizzard’s 25th anniversary.
Tickets for the convention will cost $199 (which is expensive as hell, but worth it for Blizzard fans to make their annual pilgrimage), and they will be available in two batches on April 20 and April 23. Blizzard will open sales for the first batch on Wednesday, April 20 at 7 p.m. PT, while the second batch will go live Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m. PT.
This year’s BlizzCon should see World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch all get the time in the sun, via two days’ worth of get togethers, panels, and gaming tournaments. New announcements, including new game announcements, are also not out of the question.
Whatever it is that Blizzard announces, we will be there to cover it for you. Stay tuned.
